Job Title: Business Development Manager
Location: Harrogate, North Yorkshire
Salary: From £50,000 per year basic + Quarterly Bonus
About the Role:
Our client, a leading electronic engineering business, based in North Yorkshire, are seeking a dynamic Business Development Manager to drive growth in the EV Charger and DC power supply sectors.
As part of their forward-thinking engineering team, you’ll identify new business opportunities, nurture client relationships, and contribute strategically to overall business goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute strategies to expand EV charger and related grid infrastructure sales.
- Manage tenders, bids, and customer accounts.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships for repeat business.
- Provide market feedback to support product development.
- Represent the company at industry events and conferences.
- Utilise existing clients to gain more business, as well as target new clients
You will need:
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in business development or a similar role.
- Strong strategic, financial modelling, and sales proposal writing skills.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to articulate technical product details effectively.
- The ability to build report with clients and work with other team members
- Full driving licence
- Be within commutable distance to Harrogate
