As a Technical Solutions Engineer, you'll play a crucial role in ensuring the seamless integration and functionality of PV technology within the IoT platform and solutions. Your expertise in energy systems, solar technology, or building management systems will be instrumental in providing top-level support to clients, troubleshooting technical issues, and implementing effective solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Report to the Technical Service Lead
- Provide expert technical support to clients utilizing the IoT- based energy solutions, including the integration of PV technology, smart building applications, and sustainable energy products
- Diagnose and resolve complex technical issues related to energy management systems, solar installations, building management systems, and other IoT applications
- Uphold practices to ensure customer satisfaction and engagement throughout troubleshooting and technical enquiry case
- Escalate technical cases for further exploration or conclusion
- Utilize systems tracking and database to log all topics and statuses of technical cases
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to feedback customer technical insights and issues to enhance product functionality and optimize user experience
- Develop and maintain crucial technical documentation on aftersales, customer service, technical product matters- used for internal and external customers
- Connect and liaise with customers via multichannel support lines: email, chat, telephone
- Stay abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies to continuously improve our offerings and support services
Key Skills:
- Technical Proficiency in IoT Systems: Advanced knowledge of IoT hardware and software, particularly related to energy management and smart building applications
- Industry Experience: possess past experience directly supporting customers on the topic of hardware/ software products relating to solar energy, pv, or smart energy installations
- Analytical Skills: ability to analyse system data to identify trends, diagnose issues, and suggest efficiency improvements
- Communication Skills: excellent verbal and written communication skills, necessary for effectively explaining technical details to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Customer Service Orientation: strong customer service skills with a proven ability to resolve issues and maintain high levels of customer satisfaction
- Project Management: experience in managing multiple tasks or projects with tight deadlines, showcasing strong organizational and time-management skills
