About Us:
GeoSystems is a leading surveying, engineering, and technical manpower supplier firm, renowned for delivering high-quality engineering services across the NEOM region. We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced MEP Technical Office Engineer with a strong background in MEP systems design, coordination, and shop drawings to join our team on an outsourcing basis for one of our clients, a well-known contracting company.
Key Responsibilities:
- Review and approve MEP design drawings, focusing on mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems.
- Develop and manage detailed MEP shop drawings for HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and independently complete design calculation reports.
- Coordinate with civil, structural, and architectural teams to ensure seamless integration of MEP systems in overall project designs.
- Prepare, review, and manage technical documents, including RFIs, submittals, and variation orders, with a focus on MEP systems.
- Assist in the preparation of project reports, documenting all MEP-related issues, and communicating them to relevant stakeholders.
- Familiar with Saudi Arabian building standards, NEOM procedures, and international general standards
- Ensure compliance with industry standards, codes, and regulations throughout the project lifecycle, particularly for MEP systems.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering from a reputable university.
- 5-7 years of experience in a similar role, with a strong focus on MEP systems design and shop drawings.
- Proven experience in preparing and reviewing detailed MEP shop drawings.
- Proficient in AutoCAD, Revit, Navisworks, and other relevant design software, with specific experience in MEP systems.
- Strong understanding of engineering principles related to MEP systems, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and fire protection.
- Proficiency in speaking, writing, and understanding the English language is a must.
- Excellent project management and organizational skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, team-oriented environment.
