ROLE OVERVIEW:
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Fraud Analyst to join our Fraud and Payments team. We're looking for someone who loves solving problems, working with data, and is passionate about fighting fraud. Join our team of dedicated Fraud Analysts and help us detect and prevent fraud on the frontline.
Requirements
KEY DELIVERABLES:
Fraud and Payments Data Analysis:
- Monitor and review live transactions to identify suspicious activities
- Use data analytics tools and Payment provider's data to detect patterns and trends in fraud attempts
- Generate reports on fraud incidents and recommend preventive measures
- Manage different types of abuse on our website using internal and external tools
- Recommend process improvements and make suggestions that will help us refine our fraud prevention setup
- Report findings and insights to management, suggesting improvements to current processes
Chargebacks Management:
- Investigate and manage chargeback disputes efficiently
- Collaborate with payment processors to resolve chargebacks
- Develop strategies to reduce chargebacks and improve fraud prevention measures
Customer Service:
- Provide exceptional support to customers regarding fraud and payments-related inquiries
- Communicate effectively with customers to resolve issues and disputes
- Educate customers and team members on security best practices to prevent future fraud
- Collaborate with the Customer Service department to provide additional support and resources, enhancing the customer experience and satisfaction
Training and Collaboration:
- Cross-train Customer Service team members and new members of the Fraud team
- Maintain positive working relationships with the wider business

YOU HAVE:
- 3-4 years of experience in fraud analysis, chargebacks management, and e-commerce fraud prevention (digital goods preferred)
- A solid understanding of e-commerce fraud methods and tactics
- Knowledge of fraud rules management and prevention systems
- Familiarity with Cybersource, PayPal, Adyen, BoaCompra, and Looker (preferred but not essential)
- Understanding of payment processes and handling chargebacks/disputes for cards and alternative payment methods
- Experience working in a fast-paced environment
- Good data analysis skills - proficiency in Excel is a must
