Are you looking for a cutting-edge role in the renewables sector, where you will help deliver our purpose of building a bright future? We are a fast-growing global solar power producer looking for an Engineering Lead to help us drive the implementation and evolution of Sonnedix’s data ecosystem.
The Engineering Lead – Data Platform will report into our Engineering Manager, and be based in our London office. They will establish the vision and develop the Data Platform framework of the company, working within a tightknit, but rapidly growing, IT Engineering team. The Engineering Lead – Data Platform will play a critical role in aligning our cloud strategy with business objectives. This role will leverage cloud expertise to build a compelling developer experience, facilitating the integration of data across Sonnedix’s technologies. Desirable skills:
- Proficiency in modern cloud frameworks (e.g. IaC, CI/CD, devops cycle) and technologies (e.g. Terraform, Github actions, Snowflake, EKS)
- Strong experience in defining, building and maintaining tools and frameworks, notably for technical teams (e.g. orchestration, finops, data quality tooling)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to collaborate effectively in technical and non-technical teams
- Comfortable and energised in a rapidly changing environment
