The post holder will work in partnership with health, social care and the independent care sector staff leading both Continuing health care and Complex & Long Term care team safeguarding issues for ABUHB’s Complex Care Team.

Main duties of the job
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic, self-motivated individual to lead at a Senior Level within the Complex and Long Term Care Team. We are seeking a highly motivated individual with excellent Managerial, communication, interpersonal and negotiating skills. The successful candidate will be required to demonstrate knowledge and understanding of the legislative frameworks, policies and procedures in respect of CHC framework 2022 and all Wales Sustainability, Safeguarding, Mental Capacity Act, Best Interests, decision making and Deprivation of Liberty Safeguards.
A key element of this post is collaborative working with other health, social care and independent professional groups in a range of care settings and community domiciliary care agencies. Essential to the post is the ability to provide expert and skilled clinical advice and support to individuals and teams. Experience of managing teams, complex situations, dispute resolution processes, implementing efficiencies for continuous quality improvement, awareness of financial resources and experience in adult safeguarding investigations and ABUHB putting things right complaint processes.

Qualifications
Essential criteria
- Registered Nurse
- Professional knowledge acquired through degree supplemented by post graduate diploma specialist training, experience and training to Masters equivalent level
- An appropriate postgraduate management and/ore professional qualification (or commitment to work towards).

- A proven track record of effective leadership & management.
- Previous experience at a senior level within Nursing, demonstrating clear vision and drive to continually improve the patient experience.
- Previous experience of managing CHC and safeguarding
