Position:
HYBRID: Chepstow, Solihull or Andover with remote working and travel to other TXO Group Locations both in the UK and abroad.
We are seeking a passionate, motivated and analytical ESG professional to support our sustainability and ESG initiatives. The successful candidate will be responsible for gathering, analysing, and reporting on data related to ESG factors. You will help drive the TXO Group’s ESG strategy by providing insight and recommendations based on research and data analysis and assisting with ESG-related reporting to stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- ESG Data Collection & Analysis
- Gather, verify, and analyse data related to environmental, social, and governance factors.
- Support the implementation of, and maintenance of, data management systems for tracking ESG performance across the business.
- Analyse ESG performance data to identify risks and opportunities for improvement.
- Research & Reporting
- Conduct research on industry-specific ESG trends, standards, and regulations.
- Prepare detailed reports, presentations, and recommendations on ESG performance for internal and external stakeholders.
- Contribute to the production of ESG disclosures, such as CSR, sustainability reports, ESG ratings, and regulatory reports.
- Stakeholder Engagement
- Assist with stakeholder engagement activities, including communicating ESG performance and strategy to investors, regulators, and other key parties.
- Collaborate with internal departments (e.g., Finance, HR, Legal) to integrate ESG practices into the business model.
- Support in maintaining relationships with ESG rating agencies and managing ESG benchmarking.
- ESG Strategy Development
- Drive the development and implementation of the company's ESG strategy.
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of current ESG policies and initiatives.
- Identify opportunities for improvement and innovation within the company’s ESG strategy.
- Regulatory Compliance
- Stay up to date with evolving ESG regulations, guidelines, and frameworks.
- Ensure the business is compliant with UK, EU and other international regulations
- Risk Management
- Support the identification and management of ESG-related risks and opportunities.
- Contribute to the risk management process, ensuring that ESG risks are properly integrated into the company’s overall risk framework.
Requirements:
Essential:
- Bachelor’s degree in Sustainability, Environmental Science, Business, Finance, or a related field.
- At least 2 years of experience in ESG, sustainability, or a related analytical role.
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills, with experience in data analysis and reporting.
- Familiarity with ESG reporting frameworks.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including experience in preparing reports and presentations.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and data management systems.
Desirable:
- Familiarity with ESG rating agencies and tools (e.g., MSCI, Sustainalytics, ISS, SBTis).
- Experience with ESG regulatory compliance in the UK and EU.
- Strong understanding of corporate sustainability, climate change, and responsible investment.
- Professional certifications in ESG or sustainability (e.g., CFA ESG, SASB Fundamentals).
- Knowledge and/or experience of working with ISO14001 and/or EcoVadis.
