Joining their Bristol-based team as a Junior Data Scientist means becoming part of an ambitious company where your work will directly contribute to shaping a greener future.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze energy data to uncover efficiencies and trends, driving smarter solutions.
- Build and fine-tune machine learning models for forecasting energy consumption, usage patterns, and storage optimization.
- Utilize big data tools to manage information from IoT devices and sustainability initiatives.
- Collaborate across engineering, product, and sustainability teams to create impactful data-driven strategies.
- Drive innovation by applying AI technologies to enhance operational efficiency and environmental impact.
What We’re Looking For
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Mathematics, or Engineering (Master’s degree preferred).
- Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in Python, experience in R, and SQL.
- Any familiarity with programming languages like Julia or MATLAB.
- Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, or D3.js).
- Experience With:
- Machine learning frameworks such as TensorFlow, Scikit-Learn, PyTorch, or Keras.
- Cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
- Understanding Of:
- Statistical modeling, predictive analytics, and ETL processes.
- Bonus Skills:
- Experience with natural language processing (NLP), time-series analysis, or big data technologies like Hadoop or Spark.
