On this 6-week Summer Internship you'll work alongside skilled professionals and from day one you will be working on real life meaningful projects - adding add value to clients, while exploring challenges with curiosity and creativity.
You'll learn from others and begin creating your professional network ready for when you graduate. There are regular learning sessions with our leadership team, opportunities for site visits to local projects and all kinds of social events that will support your learning and development.
Our aim is to welcome as many students back into our other programmes be that another internship or potential graduate position. This placement is the stepping-stone to your future.

Our energy consulting team in the Northwest and Yorkshire is involved in diverse projects related to decarbonisation strategy and energy infrastructure masterplanning and development at estate, city, regional and national scale.
The team consults on net zero solutions and decarbonisation developments under various energy vectors & domains. In particular, energy distribution, low carbon heating/cooling, renewable electricity generation (solar photovoltaic, wind and biomass), hydrogen and carbon capture in the Northwest and Yorkshire geography as well as the wider UKIMEA region.
We work on sustainability policy development and analysis, carbon management, renewables and climate services with regional stakeholders.
Our work covers a range of sectors clients including national, regional, and local government, energy developers, education establishments, industry, and healthcare providers.
Some of our recent projects include large scale solar photovoltaics, electricity storage, low temperature heat networks, low carbon heat generation, hydrogen for transport, biomass CHP projects, energy recovery facilities and standby gas generation for data centres, energy market reserves, university/healthcare campuses and data centres.
Is this role right for you?
We're looking for placement students with curiosity, personal drive, design flair and technical knowhow.
If you can combine these skills with an understanding of (or willingness to learn about) and a desire to deliver
excellent services for clients, we'd like to hear from you.
You will be working towards a degree level qualification at a predicted grade of a 2:1 or higher in any discipline.
