Senior Engineering Manager - Wet Utilities
About The Role
Parsons Corporation seeks a highly skilled and experienced Senior Engineering Manager - Wet Utilities to contribute to the groundbreaking NEOM THE LINE project. This pivotal role requires a deep understanding of complex wet utility systems, including water supply, wastewater, stormwater, and irrigation. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in managing large-scale infrastructure projects and delivering innovative, sustainable solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Technical Leadership:
- Provide technical leadership and oversight for all wet utility engineering activities, ensuring adherence to industry standards, codes, and project specifications.
- Lead the development of innovative wet utility solutions, considering factors such as water conservation, energy efficiency, and resilience.
- Oversee the design, review, and approval of engineering deliverables, including drawings, specifications, and calculations.
- Project Management:
- Manage the wet utilities engineering team, assigning tasks, monitoring progress, and ensuring timely delivery of deliverables.
- Coordinate with other engineering disciplines, construction teams, and client representatives to ensure seamless integration of wet utility systems.
- Develop and manage project schedules, budgets, and resource allocation.
- Monitor project progress, identify potential risks, and implement mitigation strategies.
- Quality Assurance:
- Implement rigorous quality control procedures to ensure compliance with project requirements and industry standards.
- Conduct regular quality audits and reviews to identify and address potential issues.
- Foster a culture of quality and continuous improvement within the wet utilities engineering team.
- Client Relations:
- Build strong relationships with clients and stakeholders, effectively communicating project status, addressing concerns, and ensuring client satisfaction.
- Represent Parsons at project meetings and presentations, demonstrating technical expertise and leadership skills.
Qualifications And Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
- Minimum of 22 years of experience in wet utilities engineering, with a strong focus on large-scale infrastructure projects.
- Proven track record in managing multidisciplinary teams and delivering complex projects on time and within budget.
- In-depth knowledge of relevant design standards, codes, and regulations, including AWWA, ASCE, and local codes.
- Experience with hydraulic modeling software and other advanced engineering tools.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, international environment
