Engineer – Electrical Systems Data Analysis to join the Electrical department in a rapidly expanding and exciting work environment.
About The Role
To be part of a new team in engineering to provide collation, storage, analysis and reporting of data from Fortescue Zero products out to all relevant stakeholders.
What You Will Do
- Gather data from various sources, clean and validate it to ensure accuracy, and prepare it for analysis.
- Structuring large data sets to find usable information.
- Use statistical techniques to interpret data, identify trends or patterns, and provide ongoing reports.
- Work with cross-functional teams to understand their data needs and help develop tools for collecting, organizing, and analysing information.
- Create visualizations, graphs, and reports to present findings to stakeholders.
Essential
About you
- Degree in relevant engineering discipline or extensive in job experience.
- Proficiency in data models, data mining, and segmentation techniques.
- Ability to collect, organize, analyse, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Knowledge of Tools and languages such as MATLAB Simulink, Python etc.
- Ability to present complex information in an understandable manner to non-technical stakeholders.
Preferred
- Experience of Electric Vehicles
- Good understanding of On Vehicle networks.
- Machine Learning techniques
- Instrumentation Systems
- Working knowledge of Vector tools including CANalyzer
