Enterprise Account Manager - Automotive to join the Elysia department in a rapidly expanding and exciting work environment. We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Enterprise Account Manager to join our team and oversee strategic relationships with Automotive Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs) for the Elysia Battery Intelligence Business. As an Enterprise Account Manager, you will be responsible for cultivating and maintaining long-term partnerships with key clients, driving revenue growth, securing new business and ensuring client satisfaction.
Elysia is principally involved in the development and commercialisation of the Battery Intelligence software, which is revolutionizing the life, safety and performance of battery systems. As a pioneering technology company, we specialize in the development of cutting-edge software solutions that supports, optimises and de-risks the deployment of batteries, from cradle to grave, starting with design and manufacture, through to first-life monitoring and the transition to second-life or recycling.
Our team of brilliant minds and passionate experts is dedicated to pushing the boundaries in software-derived performance, both within embedded BMS and cloud-based domains. Job Role
Client Relationship Management:
- Build and nurture strong relationships with key stakeholders at Automotive OEMs, including executives, senior managers, project managers, and engineers.
- Understand client needs, objectives, and challenges to effectively position our software solutions and services as valuable business enablers.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for client inquiries, escalations, and strategic discussions.
Strategic Account Planning
- Develop and execute comprehensive account plans to drive growth, maximize revenue opportunities, and expand our footprint within existing Automotive OEM accounts, and Group Companies.
- Identify new business opportunities within existing accounts and collaborate with internal teams to develop tailored solutions that address client requirements.
Sales And Revenue Generation
- Meet and exceed sales targets by driving upsell and cross-sell opportunities within assigned accounts.
- Lead contract negotiations, pricing discussions, and proposal development to secure new business and contract renewals.
- Track sales metrics, pipeline activity, and forecasts to provide regular updates to management.
Collaboration And Coordination
- Work closely with internal teams, including Product Managers, Application Engineers and Customer Delivery Teams, to ensure alignment on client needs and delivery of exceptional service.
- Collaborate with Marketing and Product Development teams to gather client feedback, identify market trends, and contribute to product roadmap discussions.
- Support the continued evolution of product pricing strategies for different markets in which Elysia operates.
- Work with customer purchasing teams, and internal finance teams to manage customer orders and invoicing.
Client Advocacy And Retention
- Act as a trusted advisor to clients, offering insights, best practices, and thought leadership to drive value and foster long-term partnerships.
- Proactively address client concerns, manage expectations, and resolve issues in a timely manner to ensure high levels of client satisfaction and retention.
You’ll Have
- Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in Business Administration, Marketing, Engineering, or related field (MBA beneficial).
- Proven experience in enterprise software sales, selling to customers in the automotive industry in roles of business development or account management. Experience working in the battery industry beneficial but not essential.
- Strong understanding of the automotive industry, including industry trends, challenges, and competitive landscape, notably across UK, Europe and North America.
- Demonstrated track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets in a B2B environment.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills, with the ability to influence and build rapport with C-level executives.
- Highly organized with strong project management skills and the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Willingness to travel globally as required to meet with clients and attend industry events.
- Can-do, open-minded attitude, with a willingness to learn.
- Purpose-driven, keen to make a positive global impact through the products we develop and deliver to customers.
- Proven ability to convey customer requirements to Product and Engineering Teams.
- Experience with Salesforce beneficial but not essential
