The Role
Take on a leadership role at the forefront of the renewable energy revolution! The Full Stack Engineering Lead will be based in our London office, reporting to the Head of IT Engineering, and will play a pivotal role within Sonnedix’s IT and Digitalisation team. This hands-on position encompasses involvement across the entire development lifecycle—from ideation and design to implementation and deployment. The role is central to championing best practices in software engineering and product design while also providing operational support and training to maximize team effectiveness. A key focus will be driving the development of cutting-edge data applications that power our business operations.
In this leadership role, the Full Stack Engineering Lead will mentor a team, fostering their growth and guiding their contributions to diverse, cross-functional product and project teams. Their technical expertise will shape product vision, create innovative solutions, and ensure seamless integration with our robust data ecosystem, setting the standard for excellence in the team’s output.
Desirable skills:
- Proficiency in data analytics and visualisation such as Tableau / Power BI / Grafana / Foundry
- Proficiency in one or more programming languages, such as Javascript / Typescript / Python / R
- Ability to collaborate effectively in teams of technical and non-technical individuals
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to clearly articulate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences
- Strong understanding of software development methodologies and best practices, including Agile development
