Join a leading company in the renewable energy sector! We are looking for highly skilled Field Service Engineers to support and maintain cutting-edge BESS and related technologies. You will be responsible for servicing, maintaining, and troubleshooting Energy Storage Systems to ensure optimal performance and reliability for clients across the South of England.
Key Responsibilities:
- Diagnose and resolve issues across HV, LV systems.
- Optimize and troubleshoot EMS / BMS.
- Service and maintain BESS modules
- Work with inverter technologies, particularly PE or SMA inverters.
- Maintain industrial networks and protocols (e.g., Modbus TCP, Profibus, CAN-bus).
- Operate and service PLCs, control systems, and protection relays.
- Support PV system diagnostics and repairs.
- Service variable frequency drives and HVAC systems, including chillers.
- Manage fire alarm and suppression systems effectively.
- Program advanced firewalls and routers to ensure network security.
Requirements:
- 18th Edition, NVQ or BSc in Electrical related fields or demonstrable work experience in lieu.
