Role Description
This is a full-time role for a Marine Electronics / Project Engineer at SIRM UK Marine Ltd located in various coastal locations in the United Kingdom, with flexibility for some remote work and Travel both in the UK and Rest of World. The role involves day-to-day tasks such as servicing electronic navigation and communication equipment on-board a variety of vessels, providing through life support for ships bridge electronics systems, and optimizing technical solutions.
Qualifications
- Relevant electronics technical qualifications and / or suitable experience with Marine electronics systems
- GMDSS GOC desirable
- Strong problem-solving and project management abilities
- Ability to lone work and work as part of a team
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Experience with project management software/tools desirable
- This role will involve some working at height
- Full UK driving licence essential
- Must have right to work in the UK
