The Role
We are currently seeking a Renewable Energy Consultant who will be working closely with the contracts manager to conduct Business Development on new and existing clients. The role will be based in Wimbledon, London with a requirement to meet clients on a national basis to develop commercial opportunities on commercial renewable ventures.
You will be able to demonstrate that you can meet and exceed sales targets, including negotiating / closing deals, up sell and cross selling. Able to generate new sales opportunities and promote the company to new potential customers.
Knowledge and existing contacts within the renewable sector for commercial scale PV, Wind or Battery Storage would be advantageous.
Candidate requirements:-
- Exceptional in depth knowledge of all renewable technologies on a commercial scale
- Full understanding of commercial scale solar photovoltaic developments
- Understanding of Battery Storage developments (advantageous)
- Ability to design and develop opportunities with software, PV Sol / HelioScope or similar
- Ability and willingness to travel to meet and close deals nationwide
- Preparation of cash flow based financial models for renewable energy generation targets.
- Excellent Communication skills (written and verbal)
- 5+ years field sales experience
- Positive attitude and ability to work under pressure
- Microsoft Application knowledge
- CRM Experience
