Embedded Software Architect – Glasgow Area
I am working with an established company who are the world’s largest provider of switching power supplies and a major source for power management solutions, components, visual displays, industrial automation, networking products, and renewable energy solutions.
They are looking for an Embedded Software Architect to join their team!
Salary: Circa £70k
The Role:
The Embedded Software Architect will support System Engineering with a selection of microcontroller and memory devices and develop high quality, accurate and concise SW requirements. There will also be the opportunity to work with Junior Engineers and support them with their challenges so it is essential that the successful candidate has experience of leading a team or a strong want to do so. Your efforts as an Embedded Software Lead will support the team in winning new customers which contributes to performance-related benefits.
For this Embedded Software Architects role, we are looking for:
- Strong knowledge in Embedded C bare metal development
- Simulink or Model-Based Development tools
- Understanding of control methodologies
- Requirement Engineering
- DSP Microcontrollers or real-time control
