NEOM Green Hydrogen Company (NGHC) is on a mission to make a carbon-free, climate-safe future a reality. We are building the world’s largest plant to produce green ammonia at scale, providing humankind with a cost-efficient solution that will accelerate the worldwide green hydrogen economy. Located in NEOM and supporting Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030, NGHC will be integrating up to 4GW of onshore solar and wind energy to supply up to 650 tons of green ammonia per day for transportation globally. Operations will go onstream in 2026. NGHC brings together the technology, operational efficiency and know-how of ACWA Power, Air Products and NEOM in a joint-venture partnership with over 80 years of combined experience in the fields of hydrogen, energy, renewables and global networks.

POSITION SUMMARY
To oversee and implement an organization's standardization procedures and inventory management strategies. This position entails creating and executing policies, procedures, and systems to enable efficient and effective inventory control and describing materials in a consistent and accurate manner across several departments or business divisions under NGHC umbrella.
NATURE & SCOPE
Responsible for developing and implementing policies and procedures for standardization materials, and inventory management, to ensure that these policies are followed by the team. This involve collaborating with other departments, such as: warehousing, procurement, contract, and end-user, to ensure that material standardization, and inventory management processes align with NGHC goals and objectives.
PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSBILITIES
- The company's standardization, and inventory management strategy involves creating and implementing standardized policies and procedures, ensuring proper storage, tracking, and replenishment.

- It also involves inventory planning, which involves estimating inventory needs based on demand and maintaining proper levels to meet end-user demand, by setting up the MIN/MAX, or reorder level while reducing surplus inventory and associated expenses.
- Inventory management is crucial to reduce losses, theft, and inconsistencies, and involves regular audits, monitoring systems, and controls for movement and storage.
- Continuous process improvement is essential, involving automation and technological solutions to boost productivity and optimize inventory levels.
- Cross-functional collaboration is crucial, with cross-functional teams working together to ensure consistent inventory management and standardization initiatives with overall company objectives.
- Developing and maintaining a comprehensive BOM database, and managing reporting with required analysis are essential, with data analysis revealing patterns, opportunities, and areas for improvement.
- Compliance and risk management ensure inventory and standards meet legal and regulatory requirements, and hazards related to inventory and standardization operations are managed.
- Team leadership is crucial, with guidance, training, and performance feedback to ensure team effectiveness and professional development.
- The role involves standardizing material cataloguing using industry-standard classification systems, documenting and tracking catalogued materials throughout their lifecycle, and overseeing the creation and maintenance of material catalogues.
- Regular checks on Material Requirements (MRP) levels and demand endorsement are ensured to prevent overstocking and shortages.
- Cycle counting is planned and supervised to match physical stock items to system amounts.
- Maintaining inventory lead-time stock availability is maintained by executing MRPs on time and coordinating with procurement, logistic, and end-user, for expediting PO’s delivery, and required in house.

- As per delegation of authority given by the Material Management Manager.
- The role will report directly to the NGHC – Material Management Manager.

ESSENTIAL EDUCATION QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED
- Minimum 8 years and above in Materials Management lead position with at least five years’ Inventory Management, and standardization experience.
- Educated to University degree level, with a preference for industrial Business and/or Engineering Degree.
- Must have Knowledge of Materials Management Strategies and had direct responsibility for Materials Management strategies in functionally diverse Organizations. The individual must have proven experience in leading teams and a solid governance background.
