Python Developer
One of our top clients in London is looking for a Python Developer. This is for a multinational energy and commodity trading company that has established itself at the heart of Oil, Gas and Renewable markets over the last decade, highlighting their presence in the energy sector market across the spectrum: from oil through to power, renewables and carbon and are at the forefront of exciting innovations and greenfield work. They have over 40 offices worldwide, with its largest operations in Geneva, Houston, London, and Singapore.
This unique role places you directly within the hearth of our Python Community Team, working closely with various business lines. You will be given the opportunity to work with non-technical experts and help them develop and improve existing Python solutions & automations.
This is for a full-time, regular position and will be 4-5 days onsite work in London.
What they're looking for:
• 3+ years of Python development experience
• JavaScript front-end applications
• Docker containerization
• SQL, MongoDB, and Redis data storage
• Linux and Windows OS
• Python Libraries, NumPy, pandas etc.
• ETL/ELT pipelines, Machine Learning solutions and Robotic Process Automation (RPA) systems development.
• Passion for developing in Python and a driven desire to engage with our Python community, stay up to date with changes in the Python landscape, and develop on the forefront of this exciting and fast-paced programming language
•Preferably from finance/ hedge funds background.
