As an EHS Advisor, your role is crucial to ensuring that our site is considered a safe place of work, and in doing so, maintaining the safety standards associated with the manufacturing of pharmaceutical products.
The EHS Advisor shall ensure compliance with legislation, Corporate policy and procedure and the requirements of the EHS management system.
What Will You Be Doing…
- Provide high level advisory service to the business and stakeholders
- Be a go to person and be able to prioritise workloads as and when they arise
- Be able to adapt and respond to a fast-paced EHS environment
- Provide advice and guidance relating to workplace risk and environmental impact
- Attend tier and project meetings as and when required
- Support EHS representatives
- Review and support in risk assessments across site
- Modelling good EHS behaviours
- Believe, engage and promote our 3S Safety Program
- Participate in the EHS audit and inspection programme onsite
- Support the business with ongoing maintenance and improvement to the EHS management system to ensure compliance with legislation, regulation and the sites environmental permit
- Devise and deliver training programmes
- Maintain and ensure Ipsen EHS training database is compliant across site and to engage with both internal departmental managers and external training providers on the upkeep of relevant training deliveries across site
- Carry out tool box talks and participate in the S3 Safety Program
- To perform assigned tasks whilst adhering to current GMP requirements at all times.
What Are We Looking For…
- Possession of a NEBOSH General Certificate is essential in order to be considered for this role, preferably working towards NEBOSH Diploma level or equivalent
- Demonstrable workplace experience in an EHS advisory capacity, previously within a GMP or highly regulated manufacturing environment would be highly desirable
- Prior experience with Risk Assessments, Employee Training and Coaching as well as Contractor Control
- Passionate about ensuring a safe workplace environment for ALL and in doing so, adhering to and enforcing key principles and guidelines to achieve this
