Position Title: Data Scientist
Location: UK (Manchester, London or Cheltenham)
Role Purpose:
As a Data Scientist at NCC Group, you will play a critical role in assessing and enhancing our clients' privacy solutions. Your expertise in data science, privacy, and mathematics will be essential in analysing data sets to evaluate the effectiveness of privacy controls. You will work collaboratively with cross-disciplinary teams, including security and engineering specialists, to identify patterns that may enable singling out or re-identification of individuals within data set

What we are looking for

Strong analytical and problem-solving - skills.Comfortable tackling problems from first pri
- nciples.Ability to work on 'green field' projects with minimal initial kn
- owledge.Passionate about privacy and data a
- nalysis.Excellent communication and collaboration skills, especially with
- clients.Strong understanding of mathematics, particularly statistics, probability, and linear
- algebra.Proficiency in Python for developing tools and
- scripts.Ability to translate mathematical formulas into code and abstract code into mathematical f
- ormulas.Experience in conducting technical tests and expe
- riments.Familiarity with formal research method
