Role Overview - A fast-growing and innovative company in the EV charging sector is looking for a Marketing & Bid Manager to enhance brand visibility, maximise charger utilisation, and support bids and tenders across the UK. In this role, you’ll take ownership of the marketing strategy, driving its execution while managing bid and tender submissions as needed.
The ideal candidate will have a solid marketing background, with the ability to create persuasive proposals and tenders that provide a strategic edge in competitive markets
Key Responsibilities -
- Develop and implement a strategic marketing campaign to drive brand visibility and enhance EV charging utilisation.
- Establish and nurture strategic partnerships to broaden market reach.
- Manage Point of Interest (POI) data to ensure charging locations are accurately represented on platforms like ZapMap and Google Maps.
- Create engaging marketing content, collateral, and presentations to support business development and sales efforts.
- Lead bid and tender submissions, ensuring proposals are commercially compelling and strategically aligned.
- Collaborate with internal teams to create tailored proposals that reflect the company’s objectives.
- Conduct market research and analysis to refine marketing strategies and strengthen bid submissions.
Key Requirements
- Marketing experience – Proven track record in strategic marketing, campaign management, and content creation.
- Bid & tendering experience – Strong experience in managing tenders alongside marketing efforts.
- Data-driven approach – Ability to leverage data to optimise marketing strategies and enhance charger utilisation.
- Stakeholder engagement – Effective in working with internal teams and external partners.
- Industry background – Experience in EV, technology, telecoms, infrastructure, or similar sectors preferred.
- Proactive and independent – Able to work autonomously, driving results and shaping the role.
