Our Safety, Health and Environment team has a fantastic opportunity for a Safety, Health and Environment Coordinator to join them in Stockport for 12 months.
Our Role
This role is a fixed term position for 12 months maternity cover.
As a Safety, Health and Environment Coordinator, you will provide support to the safety, health and environment (SHE) team within Electricity North West Limited (ENWL). This will involve engaging with a variety of internal and external stakeholders including SHE advisors, data analysts, external providers of support services (such as occupational health professionals) and other business areas across ENWL.
Some Of Your Responsibilities Will Include
- Provision of support to the SHE team within ENWL
- Diary management and coordination of SHE team meetings, including minute taking and action tracking
- Management of SHE reporting software
- Management of an occupational health database and liaison with external occupational health providers and resource teams to ensure occupational health assessments are undertaken
- Provision of support to data analysts in order to facilitate SHE performance reporting
- Coordination of engagement initiatives that allow members of the executive leadership team to contact ENWL employees each month, and report on the findings from calls
- Development and issue of SHE communications across the business
- Any other SHE coordination activities required to support the SHE team
The successful candidate must, at the start of employment have permission to work in the UK without sponsorship.
What We’re Looking For
- Experience working within a similar role
- Knowledge of SHE management systems and corporate reporting requirements
- A recognised safety or environmental qualification such as NEBOSH, IOSH or IEMA
- Experience in maintaining confidential databases
- Experience and managing and coordinating team diaries and meetings
- Excellent stakeholder engagement skills
