About the Role
This role involves supporting key development activities for real estate assets, infrastructure projects, and land readiness within NEOM’s OXAGON sector. The Development Project Lead will be responsible for managing development streams, coordinating with stakeholders, and overseeing the design and implementation of critical projects that align with strategic objectives.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to implement development strategies and prepare land for new real estate and infrastructure projects.
- Assist in developing key design stage documentation, from initial concepts to final design briefs.
- Oversee consultants, architects, engineers, and construction teams to ensure smooth project execution.
- Review designs and facilitate approvals during key project milestones for both development assets and infrastructure.
- Prepare and manage detailed development timelines and milestones for each project.
- Work with Oxagon’s Project Management Company (PMC) to draft and finalize RFPs in line with NEOM procedures.
- Track project progress and provide recommendations to keep deliverables aligned with business goals.
- Support cash flow analysis, budget forecasts, and financial reporting for development projects.
- Contribute to fostering a high-performing and collaborative team environment.
Qualifications
- A bachelor’s degree in real estate, architecture, engineering, or construction is required.
- A master’s degree in a related field is preferred.
- Experience with ISO certification or accreditation is a plus.
Required Skills
- At least 5 years of experience in real estate development, project management, or architecture, with a solid understanding of the full development lifecycle and operational needs.
- Familiarity with infrastructure asset design and network systems.
- Experience managing construction processes, tendering, and contracts.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to work in fast-paced environments.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with proficiency in MS Office tools.
- General knowledge of asset management, facility operations, and the integration of design into operational outcomes.
