Our Microsoft Partner client are actively seeking to appoint a D365 F&O Data Lead to join their busy and expanding practice. This person will take on a number of new and upcoming D365 F&O implementations. The role will be hybrid based and will require a day’s a week on site in London.
Key Skills & Experience:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in data management, with at least 2 years in a lead role.
- Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Project Operations, and Finance and Operations applications, SAP and other ERP systems and data migration, integration, and quality assurance.
- Strong understanding of data management principles, methodologies, and best practices.
- Proven ability to develop and execute data management strategies and plans.
- Proficiency with data management and integration tools (e.g., Informatica, Talend, SQL, ETL tools).
- Certification in data management (e.g., CDMP, DAMA) is a plus.
Key Responsibilities:
Data Management Strategy and Planning:
- Develop and implement data management strategies for ERP project, including data migration, data integration, and data quality assurance.
- Ensure data management plans are aligned with project goals and organisational objectives.
Data Migration and Integration:
- Lead data analysis and profiling activities to understand data structures and identify data quality issues.
- Design and oversee the data migration process, ensuring data is accurately transferred from legacy systems to the new ERP system.
- Work with technical teams to design and implement data integration solutions, including ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes.
Data Quality and Governance:
- Ensure data integrity, consistency, and accuracy across all data sources and systems.
- Develop and maintain data models, data dictionaries, and other documentation to support data governance.
- Develop and execute data validation and reconciliation processes to ensure data quality.
Stakeholder Collaboration and Support:
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to define data requirements and ensure they are met throughout the project lifecycle.
- Provide guidance and support to project teams and end users on data-related issues and best practices.
Monitoring and Reporting:
- Monitor and report on data management activities, identifying areas for improvement.
- Ensure data management activities comply with relevant regulations, standards, and best practices.
Continuous Improvement:
- Stay current with industry trends and advancements in data management and ERP systems.
- Continuously evaluate and improve data management processes and tools.
