What are we looking for?
A highly skilled Machine Learning & Reinforcement Learning expert to take on the role of Head of RL. In this position, you’ll lead our dynamic team of data scientists and developers, playing a pivotal role within the core leadership team. Your primary responsibility will be providing technical guidance to ensure alignment of the tech team’s initiatives with overall business objectives. As a growth company, Deep.Meta places you at the forefront to present the technical vision of the company to investors customers, and other key stakeholders.
This is a hybrid role that combines hands-on technical work with management responsibilities, offering significant potential for growth and advancement. As Head of RL, you’ll manage, mentor, and nurture the development of the tech team, fostering a culture of accountability and excellence. You'll also provide strategic leadership and oversight for Algorithm development, ensuring their successful integration into the broader software architecture.
How can you stand out?
- Familiarity with process control or industrial processes
- You are a previous founder or founding engineer
Which core skills can help you succeed?
- Machine Learning, Reinforcement Learning and Large Language/Reasoning Models
- Fluent with typical Python Machine Learning stack and tools and one or more deep learning frameworks: PyTorch, Jax, etc
- Confident developing models using complex time-series data
- Writing production-grade code and using modern software development tools and methodologies (version control, CI/CD, containers, etc.) in a cloud platform (GCP, AWS, Azure, etc)
- Aptitude for leadership
