Job Overview
They are looking for an experienced and driven Commercial Solar Project Manager to oversee the end-to-end execution of large-scale commercial solar projects. In this role, you’ll take full ownership of project planning, delivery, and quality assurance, ensuring projects are completed on schedule, within budget, and to top-tier standards. You’ll collaborate closely with engineering, procurement, and construction teams, as well as external stakeholders, to achieve project success.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage commercial solar projects from start to finish, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality benchmarks.
- Oversee project planning activities, including site assessments, permitting, procurement, and scheduling.
- Coordinate with internal teams (engineering, procurement, and installation) and external contractors to ensure smooth project delivery.
- Serve as the primary client contact, maintaining clear communication and alignment throughout the project lifecycle.
- Ensure compliance with all safety protocols, environmental standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Track project performance using tools, systems, and techniques to monitor progress.
- Identify and mitigate risks, resolve project issues, and maintain accurate documentation.
- Prepare reports and provide regular project updates to senior management and clients.
- Deliver projects that meet or exceed client expectations, ensuring high levels of satisfaction.
Requirements
- Proven experience managing commercial solar or renewable energy projects.
- Strong understanding of solar PV systems, including design and construction processes.
- Familiarity with local building codes, permitting, and safety regulations.
