Senior Engineering Manager
About The Role
Parsons Corporation seeks a highly skilled and experienced Senior Engineering Manager to contribute to the groundbreaking NEOM THE LINE project. This pivotal role requires a comprehensive understanding of multiple engineering disciplines, strong leadership skills, and a passion for innovative, sustainable solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Technical Leadership:
- Provide technical leadership and oversight for a multidisciplinary engineering team, ensuring adherence to industry standards, codes, and project specifications.
- Collaborate with various engineering disciplines (civil, structural, mechanical, electrical, etc.) to ensure seamless integration of systems and components.
- Foster a culture of innovation and continuous improvement within the engineering team.
- Project Management:
- Manage the engineering team, assigning tasks, monitoring progress, and ensuring timely delivery of deliverables.
- Coordinate with other project stakeholders, including construction teams, client representatives, and subcontractors.
- Develop and manage project schedules, budgets, and resource allocation.
- Monitor project progress, identify potential risks, and implement mitigation strategies.
- Quality Assurance:
- Implement rigorous quality control procedures to ensure compliance with project requirements and industry standards.
- Conduct regular quality audits and reviews to identify and address potential issues.
- Foster a culture of quality and continuous improvement within the engineering team.
- Client Relations:
- Build strong relationships with clients and stakeholders, effectively communicating project status, addressing concerns, and ensuring client satisfaction.
- Represent Parsons at project meetings and presentations, demonstrating technical expertise and leadership skills.
Qualifications And Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 20 years of experience in engineering, with a strong focus on large-scale infrastructure projects.
- Proven track record in managing multidisciplinary teams and delivering complex projects on time and within budget.
- In-depth knowledge of relevant design standards, codes, and regulations.
- Experience with BIM and other advanced engineering tools.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, international environment.
