About The Role
Parsons Corporation seeks a highly skilled and experienced
Senior Project Controls Lead to contribute to the groundbreaking NEOM THE LINE project. This pivotal role requires a deep understanding of project controls principles, strong leadership skills, and a passion for delivering projects on time and within budget.
Key Responsibilities
- Project Planning and Scheduling:
- Develop and maintain comprehensive project schedules, including work breakdown structures, activity sequencing, and resource allocation.
- Monitor project progress and identify potential schedule risks and delays.
- Implement effective change management processes to accommodate project changes.
- Cost Control:
- Establish cost control systems and procedures to track project expenditures.
- Monitor cost performance, identify variances, and implement corrective actions.
- Prepare accurate cost forecasts and reports.
- Earned Value Management (EVM):
- Implement and manage EVM to measure project performance and identify potential issues.
- Generate regular EVM reports and forecasts.
- Risk Management:
- Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks.
- Develop contingency plans to address potential risks.
- Monitor and report on risk exposures.
- Document Control:
- Establish and maintain a robust document control system to ensure efficient document management and control.
- Implement document review and approval processes.
- Team Leadership:
- Lead and mentor a team of project controls professionals.
- Foster a collaborative and high-performing team culture.
- Provide guidance and support to project teams on project controls best practices.
Qualifications And Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
- Minimum of 20 years of experience in project controls, with a strong focus on large-scale infrastructure projects.
- Proven track record in implementing and managing project controls systems.
- In-depth knowledge of project management methodologies, such as PMI and PRINCE2.
- Proficiency in project scheduling software (e.g., Primavera P6) and cost management tools.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, international environment
