Job Description: We are seeking a competent Datacenter Development Project Manager to oversee the planning, coordination, and permits processing of datacenter projects to a ready-to-build status. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing projects, interfacing with stakeholders, and ensuring that all project requirements are completed on time and within budget.

Key Responsibilities:

Understand data center requirements and identify potential development opportunity sites.
Navigate the planning act process with local authorities across the UK.
Collaborate with land managers to close option and lease contracts.
Conduct and analyze market research to assess project feasibility.
Coordinate with architects, engineers, and construction teams for planning submissions.
Develop and manage project budgets, cash flow, and timelines.
Manage risks and resolve issues affecting project scope, schedule, and costs.
Oversee all project lifecycle stages, from site finding to ready-to-build status.
Attend public consultation events.
Ensure all necessary permits and licenses are acquired.
Negotiate contracts with planning consultants, contractors, and other stakeholders.
Monitor project progress and address any issues or delays.
Communicate regularly with stakeholders, providing project updates and reports.
Ensure project alignment with company goals and objectives.
Oversee quality control procedures to ensure project standards are met.
Measure project performance using appropriate systems, tools, and techniques.
Develop comprehensive project plans to share with clients and staff.
Travel around the UK as required.

Qualifications:

Proven work experience as a Datacenter/Real Estate Development Project Manager or similar role.
Experience in the real estate development or construction industry.
Strong knowledge of construction methods and regulations.
Excellent organizational and project management skills.
Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
Ability to work effectively with a team and stakeholders.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field.
Valid driving license and access to a vehicle.
