ESG REC are working with one of the world’s leading specialist engineering firms working to tackle complex and critical projects in the energy sector that will truly change the world we live in.
With a growing workload, they seek an experienced Associate/Contractor Energy Consultant to provide ad-hoc or contract-based support across projects and workstreams.
The Role:
You will be joining a very talented team that cover both power consultancy (renewable generation, network technologies, EVs and smart grids) and future fuels consultancy (hydrogen, ammonia, methanol, SAFs).
Technical requirements:
Applications are welcomed from candidates who have one or more of the following skills:
Clean Power Expertise
- Power sector regulation (economic/technical) for utilities.
- Strategy consulting for RE/BESS (portfolio, modeling).
- Pre-feasibility, site optimization, and design for RE/BESS projects.
- Feasibility studies, technical due diligence, and owner’s engineering.
- Smart grid trials, power systems modeling (PSCAD, DigSilent, IPSA).
Fuels Expertise
- Regulation and strategy consulting for hydrogen/fuel technologies.
- Feasibility studies, due diligence, owner’s engineering, and hydrogen storage.
General requirements:
- Significant experience in Engineering Consultancy or EPC.
- Excel modelling proficiency.
- Customer-facing experience and strong English report writing.
