To strengthen our wind turbine service and inspections teams in the Ireland. We are looking for a qualified and committed Wind Turbine Field Technicians.
Location: Ireland & UK
Experience
- Previous inspection, maintenance experience on Wind Turbines, able to lead a team on service campaigns throughout the Ireland & the UK when necessary
- Ability to work independently on troubleshooting and repair of wind turbine generator systems, including clarification of any client queries
- Ability to work away from home when business dictates
- Ability to use MS Excel & Word, job management software to document inspection and service works, log defects and detail fault findings and repairs in service reports and checklists
- Contact person for client technical queries, such as defects and repairs
- Willing to work and fulfil on-call obligations for out of normal working hours if required. (e.g. weekend working)
Qualifications/Requirements
- Professional training in electrical engineering sector (electrician, power electronics system, mechatronic engineer) or the equivalent knowledge/experience
- Familiar with MS-Office operating system
- Familiar with PLCs
- High degree of quality awareness; excellent fault finding and diagnostic skills combined with the ability to detect and remedy faults, defects, problems
- Team player, cooperative, interested in further personal and career development
- Confident personality
- Able to work at heights
- Structured worker with technical analytical abilities
- High degree of flexibility, highly motivated with the ability to work under pressure
- Prepared to travel throughout Ireland & the UK
Desired Characteristics
- Previous experience working on GE / ECO / Siemens Turbines
- Electrical/ mechanical service or maintenance experience will be the additional advantage
