Role Description
This is a full-time hybrid role for a Solar PV Designer located in Glasgow. The Solar PV Designer will be responsible for designing solar photovoltaic systems, conducting site surveys, preparing technical drawings, performing shading analysis, and ensuring compliance with industry standards. The role may involve some remote work.
Qualifications
- Solar PV design and installation skills
- Technical drawing and shading analysis abilities
- Knowledge of industry standards and regulations
- Experience with software tools such as AutoCAD, PVSyst, and PVSol
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Attention to detail and ability to work independently
- Certification in Solar PV design or related field is a plus
- Knowledge of electrical systems and solar energy principles
- Ability to conduct site surveys and prepare technical specifications
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Bachelor's degree in Eletrical Engineering or related field
