Are you an experienced and driven sales professional passionate about renewable energy? We are representing a growing division focused on delivering mid-sized ground and roof-mounted Solar PV and battery storage solutions.
Our client specialises in the design, installation, and maintenance of renewable energy systems, providing market-leading solutions for a wide range of clients. We're expanding our reach and looking for a results-orientated Business Development Manager to help drive this growth.
Your Role
As a Business Development Manager, you’ll spearhead efforts to develop new business opportunities, focusing on solar PV and complementary renewable technologies. Your goal is to build lasting relationships with key decision-makers across sectors such as commercial landlords, hospitality, healthcare, education, leisure, and government contracts.
We’re looking for someone who is
- A proactive self-starter with a track record in business development.
- Experienced in solar PV or the renewables market is preferable (product training provided if required).
- Skilled at building and nurturing client relationships.
- Knowledgeable about key sectors such as hospitality, healthcare, and education.
- Confident in technical discussions and solution-orientated sales.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain strong connections with sustainability managers, contractors, architects, and consultants.
- Drive new business opportunities, meeting and exceeding sales targets with best-in-class proposals.
- Collaborate with clients to specify, quote, and design optimal Solar PV solutions, ensuring financial and technical efficiency.
- Identify and share leads for heat pumps and other renewable energy solutions across the team.
- Stay ahead of industry trends, attend networking events, and represent our client as the trusted supplier they are.
