Everest People Solutions are recruiting for a Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) Manager on behalf of a leading food manufacturer, The HSE Manager is responsible for overseeing all aspects of health, safety, and environmental management on-site. This includes developing, implementing, and monitoring policies, systems, and strategies that ensure compliance with legal and industry standards while fostering a culture of safety and sustainability.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Experience
Essential
- Proven experience leading HSE functions within a manufacturing or industrial environment.
- Relevant HSE qualifications (e.g., NEBOSH General Certificate, NEBOSH Environmental Certificate).
- In-depth knowledge of HSE legislation and best practices.
- Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Experience developing and implementing HSE policies and training programs.
- Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Desirable
- NEBOSH Diploma or equivalent advanced qualifications.
- Membership of IOSH or similar professional body.
- Experience in the food manufacturing or FMCG sector.
- Familiarity with lean manufacturing or continuous improvement techniques.
