Key Responsibilities:
- Assign and supervise staff in repairing or replacing defective equipment parts using hand and power tools, and oversee the reassembly of equipment.
- Conduct and monitor routine preventive maintenance to ensure smooth machine operation, efficient building systems, and the upkeep of physical structures.
- Inspect and test machinery to diagnose malfunctions and assign appropriate corrective measures.
- Evaluate maintenance or repair work, including types and costs, ensuring cost-effective solutions.
- Oversee dismantling and reassembly of devices using hoists, cranes, hand tools, and power tools to remove defective parts.
- Analyse mechanical problems and assign staff to resolve them, referencing blueprints, repair manuals, and parts catalogs as needed.
