Piper Maddox are working with a renowned developer, owner and operator of renewable energy technology who have been a staple in the UK market for close to a decade. With over a GW of capacity within their current pipeline, a team of some of the most experienced heads in the industry, as well as significant portfolio growth planned - it is a great time to be joining up with the team!
Our client specializes in traditional solar and battery storage, but have also innovated into other areas of clean technology such as hydrogen, and biogas capture. They have secured a number of planning consents this year, and show no signs of slowing down! A large proportion of their development pipeline is progressing through the planning system.
They are looking to add a Development Manager to their team to assist with driving projects through from inception to the RTB stage. Once projects reach this stage, the projects will passed on to their in-house construction team, meaning that your projects stay close to home all the way to the project being operational!
Your role within the team would include:
> Contributing to the sourcing of suitable land for renewable energy development as well as the acquisition negotiations of said land.
> Management of the planning application process - liaising with the internal team as well as external consultants.
> Project management of renewable energy projects from the origination of the land opportunity, securing grid capacity, achieving planning consent, and through to the RTB stage.
