About your role
- Involves having strong business analysis skills for requirements gathering, requirements prioritization, business case preparation, conducting workshops, documenting business / functional requirements, etc.
- Deliver high quality deliverables, while working on complex projects, towards tight deadlines
- Engage stakeholders across multiple teams / organisations for technology delivery and business change
- Take ownership and solve unclear / ambiguous problem statements and complex technical issues
- Assist programme leadership in managing risks / issues and in managing the delivery
- Contribute to firm development and practice development initiative, e.g. innovation and learning
- Support leadership team on bids and pursuits
Requirements
You..
- Have 4+ years of Utilities related experience
- Experience with the Utilities industry, across one of the sectors of Electricity, Gas or Water
- Experience within the Utilities industry value chain across Gas, Electricity and Water -Retail, Transmission and Distribution
- Experience of working on functional domains relevant to Utilities industry, such as CRM, EAM, FSM, ETRM, SCADA, GIS, Energy Management systems, Smart Metering etc.
- Understanding of emerging Utility business models such as Solar, E-mobility, hydrogen, energy storage etc.
- Have curiosity and a passion for problem solving
- Have a data-driven and outcome-focussed approach and a keen desire to make things better and identify opportunities for improvement
- Have a broad business skill set including stakeholder management, problem-solving, etc.
- Have experience in gathering, synthesizing, documenting, and communicating business requirements and information for a range of audiences
- Have excellent interpersonal skills, strong written and verbal communication and presentation skills
- Have knowledge of project management methodologies and Agile ways of working
- Have experience of working in large scale projects
Preferred Skills:
- Master's degree with strong academic results in a relevant field, MBA (Tier 1), Relevant accreditation for Utilities industry
- Project Management Professional (PMP) / PRINCE2 certification
- Lean Six Sigma certification
- Knowledge of Agile ways of working
- Utilities industry knowledge
- Capital projects knowledge / experience
- Have experience or exposure to business development
