RESPONSIBILITIES:
We are looking for someone that can help us with the following:
- Writing short articles for our external stewardship reports
- Assessing company corporate governance to inform AGM voting (training will be provided on this)
- Investigation the environmental, social and governance (ESG) credentials of the companies that we invest in
- Engaging the companies that we invest in on ESG issues
We are looking for an enthusiastic person with an interest in environmental and social issues – and how they relate to the world of investment. We’re a friendly team based in Manchester but we all work flexibly, be that at home or in the office, or on a part-time basis. We’re looking for someone with great written communications skills to support our team on a temporary basis.
DO YOU HAVE WHAT IT TAKES TO JOIN US?
The successful candidate should meet the following requirements:
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Quick learner demonstrating curiosity about ESG
- Solid understanding of ESG principles, frameworks and regulations
- Proactive and collaborative approach to work
- Previous experience in a similar environment would be advantageous
- Comfortable working individually and as part of a team
- High level MS Office skills
