Maxwell Bond are working with a company who are now growing at a rapid rate and are therefore offering this opportunity for an experienced Wind Turbine Technician to work onshore in Southeast England & North Scotland.
The role will involve travelling around the area to different sites and occasionally you may have to stay away.

Essential experience for a Wind Turbine Technician
- A relevant technical qualification in electrical, mechanical or renewable energy engineering.
- Proven experience in a similar technician role within renewable energy or wind energy industry.
- Demonstrate ability to supervise meetings/teams/projects with an organised and methodical approach.
- Experience in team building, motivating, and building employee satisfaction & development.
- Great spoken and written communication skills in English.
- A proven track record in mechanical and/or electrical engineering, with good solid evidence of fault finding and problem solving.
- You should be able to deliver your work to a high standard and in a professional manner in line with your experience.
- You should be able to demonstrate the ability to communicate effectively, regularly and in a professional manner with managers, clients and contractors as appropriate.
- Candidates are required to pass a RUK wind industry standard medical assessment to ensure they are fit and able to work at heights and perform the role of wind turbine technician.
- Be willing and able to travel on a regular basis, including nights away from home if required.
- Computer and tablet literate and able to use Microsoft Office- outlook etc.
- Comfortable working at heights and in varying weather conditions.
- Full UK Driving Licence for travel to different wind turbine sites as required.

- GWO Working at Height
- GWO Manual Handling
- GWO First Aid
- GWO Fire Awareness
- Experience working with the 225kW to 850kW range of wind turbines
- Wind Turbine Safety Rules training
- Competent with using access platforms
- Experience with problem solving
- Fault finding of HV switchgear
