THE ROLE
· Calibration, repairing, servicing, and installing Industrial weighing equipment at a variety of customer premises, from laboratories to Energy plants
- Installation and commissioning of a full range of weighing systems ranging from lab balances to fully automated software-controlled platform and weighbridge weighing systems, Windows based touch screen terminals, Digital loadcells and standard weighing hardware and associated peripherals, Radiation Portals, Barriers, traffic lights
Job/Skill Requirements:
· To provide successful breakdown servicing and preventative maintenance to Weightron Bilanciai Ltd clients or their associated agents.
· To calibrate individual products and systems at customer premises in line with procedural requirements.
· To test and verify product for Trade Use purposes following the companies Self Verification procedures.
· To assist in the installation and commissioning of fully automated weighing solutions and peripherals.
· To assist in the testing and commissioning of Weighing related software products on client site.
· To be work on Weightron Bilanciai & other manufacturers equipment.
· To assist in interfacing, configuration, and installation of high-level weighing solutions on clients LAN & WAN Networks.
- On-site electrical/mechanical fault finding and repairs.
- To be part of the on-call standby/weekend rota system.
- Must be prepared to learn a diverse set of products from differing brands and continually improve your product knowledge.
· To be able to work to given deadlines and timescale set by the company.
· To be able to work alone or in a team and take instruction.
· To have good communication skills, both with customers and with the service team.
· To be responsible for accurate management of your vehicle spare parts stock to ensure a high level of first-time fix, replenishment and renewal of spare parts and rotation of stock components.
· To ensure stock is kept safe and secure as part of this process and to make a monthly physical quality check equipment used to carry out role.
· To maintain accurate work records so that the business may determine contract profitability and engineer productivity via the company’s cloud-based work system.
- Complete all necessary paperwork accurately and on a timely basis in accordance with the Company procedures.
· Daily feedback on job status to the back-office service team.
· To identify new business and chargeable work and feedback possible sales leads and or maintenance contracts while out in the field in order to make an individual contribution to the financial performance of the business. (All successful sales leads will result in commission bonus payments)
· To ensure the highest standards of customer satisfaction in line with company policy.
· Participate in planned overtime working for “out of hours” work.
· To observe and comply with all Company policies and procedures, including but not limited to Health and Safety, Car Policy, ethics policy and all policies and appendices within Contract of Employment.
- IT literate, Windows, Excel & Word
ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS REQUIRED
- It is essential that you have a working knowledge of weighing and / or IT equipment, with previous experience within a customer service environment.
· In depth product training will be provided on all Weightron Bilanciai products, hardware, and software.
- The role will necessitate team working; however, you will need to work independently and be logical in your approach.
- The role demands a great deal of problem solving and you must be able to prioritise and have a flexible approach to hours and type of work.
- You must have a full (preferred clean) Driving License and live in a suitable location
