ENODA is excited to announce our first annual summer internship programme. We are seeking two innovative, confident and curious individuals to join us in
summer 2025 for 8-10 weeks. If you're motivated, tenacious, and excited to explore uncharted tech territory, embracing the challenges and triumphs that come with creating a clean energy future, we’d love to hear from you.
This is an internship for those studying a
STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics) subject in Edinburgh or the surrounding area. Ideally you will have completed (at least) the 3rd year of your undergraduate degree, but the internship is also open to those currently undertaking a master's programme.
Over the course of the internship, you will have the opportunity to get hands-on experience, during a pivotal point in ENODA's growth journey. You will support a brilliant group of international scientists and engineers, all of whom are leaders in their respective fields, to create trailblazing climate technology.
This Internship Is Open To Students Pursuing Any STEM Subject, But With a Particular Interest In Those Studying The Following Fields
- Materials Science
- Mechanical Engineering
- Mathematics
- Blockchain Programming
- Computer Science
This is a paid internship.
All applicants must have the existing right to work in the UK.
This internship will be based onsite in Edinburgh. Applicants must be in Edinburgh for the duration of the internship.

What We Are Looking For
- Currently enrolled in a STEM subject and have at least completed 3rd year of undergraduate degree
- Passionate about innovation and climate technology
- Able to work both well in a team and independently
- Proven experience in an international environment
- Critical thinking skills
- Ability to quickly adapt to new situations
- Curious problem solver, who isn’t afraid to ask questions and make suggestions
The Following Would Be Advantageous
- Experience with different programmes such as MATLAB or Ansys Maxwell (where appropriate)
- Experience with different programming languages such as Python or C/C++ (where appropriate)
