An exciting opportunity has arisen to support the Trust with the drive towards a net zero NHS. This post will be based within the Estates Department.
We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, high-achieving and experienced data analyst to support a dynamic and forward-thinking Sustainability Team, based at our Broughton site.
The ideal candidate will be a team player with excellent organisational and data management skills, possess a good working knowledge of Microsoft Office packages and be comfortable using Excel and Power BI.
The job may require some travelling across stations and premises to scope works, undertake surveys and support the wider Estates team in meeting their statutory responsibilities and net zero targets.
The Environmental Data Analyst will provide a range of specialist advice and assistance to fellow Estates staff and senior managers.
Experience of Energy and Utilities management in complex settings is essential together with the relevant qualifications.
As a key member of the Estates Team, they will be responsible for the Trust’s utility software, data inputting, energy and waste reporting and provide support to Estates Energy & Sustainability Manager.
This Will Involve But Is Not Limited To
- Coordination and management of utilities data, metering and payment queries, setting up new accounts and transferring suppliers.
- Reviewing and analysing energy, waste and water consumption against monthly and annual targets.
- Working with the Estates Managers to drive efficiency by taking a data-led approach to assets, projects and reactive works.
- Delivering the Trust’s Carbon Literacy Programme as part of a net zero training and awareness package.
- Providing timely reports and data and updates to the likes of Greener NHS, NHSE, our Net Zero ICB Lead and stakeholders for energy and carbon savings contracts.
- Linking in with NWAS Fleet and carrying out travel and transport surveying in relation to fleet carbon emissions.

We also provide non-emergency patient transport services for those patients who require non-emergency transport to and from hospital and who are unable to travel unaided because of their medical condition or clinical need.
Alongside the other emergency services, we also work to ensure the safety of the public and treatment of patients in the event of a major incident.
We also deliver the NHS 111 service in the North West. NHS 111 replaced NHS Direct in 2013. This service was introduced to make it easier for people to access local NHS healthcare services in England. It provides non-emergency medical help fast, and is available 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.
