Job Title: Marketing Manager (Maternity Cover) 12 months cover.
Location: Basingstoke
Base: InstaVolt Head Office – Chineham Business Park, Basingstoke with flexibility to work from home 1 day a week.
Salary: Up to £70,000 per annum plus 10% annual discretionary bonus.

The role
We’re seeking an ambitious, proactive and determined marketing manager to cover maternity leave. Reporting into the Group Marketing Director and working in a small team at our HQ in Basingstoke you will be responsible for helping our business development teams in Republic of Ireland, Iceland, Spain and Portugal but the majority of your day to day will be to continue the marketing efforts in the UK across our B2b and B2C audiences.
The role has a heavy focus on Press and LinkedIn activity, along with being responsible for keeping master messaging documents up to date, organising photographers, arranging events to name a few! You will be comfortable working across the whole marketing mix and enjoy working in a fast pace environment where no day is the same.
Key Responsibilities:
- Press plays a key role in InstaVolt activity whether that be local press to announce the arrival of new charger locations or industry press as a thought leader; planning a press calendar for new site launches is a must whilst also being open to reactive stories
- LinkedIn is an important channel for us; we need to ensure this is actively fed with content
- Work with the agency to determine and specific campaigns to drive utilisation (such as collaborations with local businesses, Influencer campaigns or local awareness activity)
- Know the popular marketing channels where drivers in market consume media to help inform the in-country marketing plans
- Be the first point of call in country for all marketing enquiries for B2C or B2B
- Working directly with the senior leadership team, including developing press quotes, and writing board reports for example
Requirements:
- c7-10 years’ experience
- Must be experienced in PR Must have a ‘can do’ solutions led attitude
- Fluent in English with excellent written skills
- Experience or solid understanding of the differences in B2C and B2B marketing needs
- Multi tasker, highly organised and good at planning
- Experienced in managing multi-channel marketing budgets and reporting
- An interest in results, analytics and optimisation
- Proactivity to get on with the tasks in hand whilst keeping your stakeholders updated with progresses
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with electric vehicles and the EV market is a plus, but not essential.
- Up to date drivers’ licence
