Summary
We are currently looking to recruit a Business Development Manager to join our established and rapidly growing business. Your main responsibilities will include identifying and establishing business growth opportunities with existing and new clients.
The candidate will require a proven track record in new business development and account management. Your targets will be to optimize revenue, encourage business growth, and strengthen our market position.
Job Role:
Supporting and guiding our branch network identifying sales opportunity.
Supporting our national accounts teams on major projects.
Working closely with our supply chain, driving product initiatives and targets.
Working closely with our specification colleagues.
Assist in the business drive for innovation and market leading ways of driving sustainability.
Gaining market knowledge and leverage of lining projects and opportunities.
Leveraging business opportunities by generating a major project pipeline.
Ability to grow, maintain and leverage your network of contacts.
Ability to identify potential clients and the appropriate decision makers.
Ability to research and build relationships with new clients.
Plan approaches and pitches to develop proposals that speaks to the client's needs, concerns and objectives.
Participate in pricing.
The ability to persuade or negotiate appropriately.
Self-motivated and target driven.
Disciplined and able to organise a busy schedule effectively
Focussed and persistent with a will to win.
Team player able to work effectively with colleagues to deliver excellent customer service.
Knowledge
