Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Service Engineer at JAMES TROOP & COMPANY LIMITED in Runcorn. The Service Engineer will be responsible for troubleshooting, field service, technical support, maintenance & repair of machinery on a day-to-day basis. The role is mainly UK based but some overseas may be required. We are authorised dealers for Volvo Penta, Daihatsu diesels, Deutz, MAN, MTU, working on marine and industrial applications such as Wind farm vessels, deep sea vessels, generators, crushers, screeners and material handling. The role come with a service van with fuel card, tablet, phone. 39 hour basic working week with additional OTE
Qualifications
- Troubleshooting, Maintenance & Repair, and Technical Support skills
- Field Service and Communication skills
- Strong problem-solving abilities
- Excellent communication skills and customer service orientation
- Ability to work well in a team and independently
- Relevant technical certifications or degrees in Engineering or related field
