- Develop and implement data sharing strategies that align with organisational goals.
- Lead SPEN’s data triage process by conducting detailed risk assessments of datasets prior to publication. Work with Data Owners, Data Security, and Data Protection colleagues to identify and implement appropriate controls to protect sensitive information.
- Engage with Data Owners, Data Science colleagues, and Subject Matter Experts during the risk assessment process to determine how published datasets interact and whether additional controls are needed to protect sensitive information.
- Facilitate publication of datasets on our Open Data Portal in line with Data Best Practice guidelines and industry standards.
- Respond to stakeholder feedback by identifying and implementing improvements in datasets.
- Prepare presentations and write narratives for responses to information requests from internal and external bodies, supported by analysis and documentation as necessary.
- Cultivate relationships with key stakeholders and establish effective working relationships with SPEN staff and management teams across the business.
What You’ll Bring
- Proactive, adaptable, and passionate about delivering high-quality, actionable data.
- Ability to quickly understand a range of complex data and the issues it may present.
- Strong communication skills to articulate objectives and deliver projects with multiple milestones.
Skills And Experience
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proven experience in data sharing and data management.
- Strong understanding of data protection regulations and risk assessment methodologies.
- Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and time management skills.
- Experience in preparing analysis, reports, and presentations for senior management.
- Numerically articulate with strong attention to detail.
- Ability to devise solutions to complex problems and challenges, involving consultation with others in the business, resolving differences, and presenting a common agreed perspective.
- Innovative thinking and the ability to apply it to complex problems.
