The Joint Director of Estates and Facilities has overarching accountability and responsibility for the Estates, Facilities and Estates-related Capital Developments at both Trusts. The postholder will be responsible for leading the development and implementation of an effective, long term estate strategy on each site, together with providing the professional leadership and operational management across their portfolio.
The Joint Director of Estates and Facilities will be the most senior responsible person, ensuring suitable and sufficient governance arrangements are embedded into the departments, which provides assurance to the Chief Executive and Trust Boards

The postholder will be the principal adviser to the Trust Boards on all land, property, estates, facilities and development matters, including statutory and other risks that will impact on the
delivery of safe, responsive, cost-effective services.
This is a senior corporate leadership role, involving close collaborative working with the Executive Team and senior clinical staff. The role carries significant responsibility for financial management and regulatory compliance

If successful this vacancy will require a Standard DBS check at a cost of £26.50. This cost will be deducted from your first Trust salary
