Job Description

We are seeking an experienced AI/ML Lead to drive our artificial intelligence and machine learning initiatives, with a special focus on product innovation. In this role, you will evaluate and validate new product concepts, work closely with the Product Innovation team to assess technical feasibility, and leverage AI/ML techniques to forecast product success. You'll lead a team of data scientists and ML engineers while serving as a key technical advisor for product development decisions.

Key Responsibilities

Lead the design, development, and implementation of machine learning models and AI systems
Collaborate intensively with the Product Innovation team to evaluate new product concepts and predict market success
Build predictive models to assess product viability, market fit, and potential ROI
Develop data-driven frameworks for go/no-go decisions on product concepts
Establish best practices for AI/ML development, testing, and deployment
Mentor and manage a team of data scientists and machine learning engineers
Translate business problems into ML solutions and determine appropriate algorithms and techniques
Develop strategies for data collection, annotation, and quality assurance
Work with engineering teams to implement ML models into production systems
Stay current with state-of-the-art AI/ML research and technologies
Communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders

Requirements

Qualifications

Master's in Computer Science, Machine Learning, Statistics, or related field
5+ years of experience building and deploying machine learning systems in production environments
3+ years of leadership experience in AI/ML teams
Experience with predictive modeling for product success metrics
Background in using data science for product validation and market analysis
Strong expertise in machine learning algorithms, deep learning frameworks, and statistical analysis
Proficiency in Python and relevant ML libraries (TensorFlow, PyTorch, scikit-learn, etc.)
Experience with data infrastructure, MLOps, and ML model deployment pipelines
Knowledge of software engineering best practices (version control, testing, CI/CD)
Excellent communication skills and ability to explain complex technical concepts to diverse audiences

Preferred Skills

Experience in product analytics and forecasting product performance
Background in market analysis using machine learning techniques
Knowledge of A/B testing and experimental design
Familiarity with consumer behavior modeling and preference prediction
Experience in specific domains (NLP, computer vision, recommender systems, etc.)
Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) and their ML offerings
Knowledge of distributed computing and large-scale data processing
Background in data engineering and database technologies
Publication record in AI/ML conferences or journals
Experience with responsible AI practices and fairness in machine learning
