This role will help us to do this by developing and delivering our environmental plans to improve energy efficiency and use of carbon across our housing stock. It will involve working with the Assets and Homes teams to set and meet our sustainability goals, reduce our carbon footprint, and support initiatives that help us achieve our sustainability goals. The post requires someone who is passionate about data and has strong problem-solving skills to analyse property performance data. A key part of the role will be to identify, recommend and support applying for grant funding opportunities.

In this role, you will be responsible for

Evaluating new and effective opportunities to support Asset Management and Sustainability Strategies, developing projects to improve our sustainability performance, reduce energy consumption and cut carbon emissions.
Maintaining the organisations sustainability system, ensuring accurate storing and usage of energy performance data.
Preparing evaluation reports, briefing papers and business cases that support the delivery of the sustainability initiatives linking to relevant strategies
Monitoring performance against KPIs, use data to inform decision making and add value to drive improvements. Continuously assess and manage risk within the Risk Framework, actively implement control and improvement measures
Helping to develop and produce new policies, processes and action plans that support the Asset Management and Sustainability strategies
